Visiting Our Sponsored Beehive
Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit our sponsored beehive, and it was an experience we’ll never forget.
Earlier this year, we began sponsoring a hive as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local biodiversity and protecting our vital pollinators. As part of the sponsorship, Chief Worker Bee Darren invited us to visit the hive, where we learned about the fascinating lives of honeybees and the journey from hive to honey jar.
Seeing our hive thriving was incredibly rewarding. We were given an insight into how the colony works, the important role each bee plays, and even had the chance to meet our queen bee. It was a wonderful reminder of just how remarkable these tiny creatures are and how essential they are to our environment.
One of the highlights of the visit was tasting the honey directly from the frame, without doubt the best honey we’ve ever tasted! We couldn’t resist bringing some back to the office for the rest of the team to enjoy.
