Will is a Part I Architectural Assistant with a Masters in Architectural Engineering from the University of Leeds. His studies combined architectural design with structural engineering, building physics and environmental performance, giving him a strong technical and design-led foundation.
For his final year project, Will designed a community resource centre, developing the structural design alongside considering thermal comfort and ventilation requirements to optimise the building’s performance.
Alongside his studies, Will worked in the hospitality industry, where he developed strong communication and teamwork skills.
He has a particular interest in ventilation and the transmission of pathogens within indoor spaces. His dissertation explored occupational exposure to Entonox through different ventilation strategies, using modelling to investigate how ventilation could influence exposure levels.
Outside of work, Will enjoys days out exploring different cities with his partner, as well as seeing live music in bars and music venues.

We’ve collaborated with SSA Architects on a multitude of retail projects, both large and small format. Communication and delivery have consistently been excellent. I primarily work with Callum, known as “the oracle” by myself and Project Managers on the client side. His unparalleled understanding of client specifications and his off-the-cuff, concise knowledge of every project he’s involved in are genuinely impressive. The service is always professional—and always with a smile.
