After completing his undergraduate degree in Architecture at Leeds Beckett University in 2021, Jaimie joined the practice as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. He gained experience across the residential sector, from large-scale housing developments to bespoke, client-focused homes—alongside projects in retail, logistics, care, and specialist sectors, contributing from RIBA Stage 0 through to Stage 5.
In 2023, he began his Master’s in Architecture at the University of Sheffield, where his work explored community participation, sustainable building adaptations, and low-impact design. His final thesis, Learning From The Land: Cultivating Resilience, examined how education, ecological regeneration, and agriculture can drive innovation in sustainable building materials, particularly in post-industrial and environmentally degraded landscapes. The project was recognised with the BESCA Award for Environmental Sustainability.
Graduating with distinction, Jaimie returned to the practice in September 2025 as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant. He is eager to deepen his understanding of project delivery and practice management while preparing to complete his final stage of qualification at the University of Newcastle.
Outside the studio, Jaimie enjoys travelling with friends, family, and his partner, supporting his local football team, and trying his hand at padel.
