S+SA’s latest Tesco superstore opened in Penwortham in early 2021. This is Tesco’s most recent superstore opening in our 30 year partnership with the British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer and our first major store in six years.
The newest design principles have been adopted for this scheme, which is constructed on a brownfield site and brings an additional 70 jobs to the local area. The design utilises a brick feature entrance to reflect the local vernacular. The supermarket also features a petrol station and provides eight electric vehicle charging points.
