RESIDENTIAL LISTED BUILDING
Undisclosed location

Project Overview

Project: Residential listed building project
Client: Confidential
Cost: Confidential

The proposal consists of a minor extension to the South West of the building to provide additional family space within the property. Both the historic context and the fact that the existing property is Grade II listed have been driving factors in the design development to ensure that a high quality and sensitive design is realised to enhance and preserve the characteristics of not only the site but the surrounding area.

High quality materials similar to those of the existing property will be used including Ashlar Stone Walling, a slate coloured Zinc roof finish and dark grey slim aluminium window frames.

The roof has been pitched with the gable end to the front elevation, this not only provides an opportunity to maximize glazing for increased natural light and a view across the occupier’s garden to a large expanse of open green space but also to mimic the garden room to the east elevation.
