Working with Jupiter Construction we were appointed as Architects to design and deliver an extension to an existing school in Halifax.
The scheme has been designed to expand the school’s specialist educational provision and create a high-quality learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The extension to the existing school building will provide:
• Four new classrooms
• Flexible teaching and learning space
• Dedicated group room
• Quiet and sensory room
• Accessible toilet facilities
• Dedicated outdoor play and social space
The new facilities will support increased student capacity while enhancing the learning experience through modern, purpose-designed educational environments.
Works on site are progressing well and is anticipated to reach completion in October 2026.
This development represents an important investment in SEND education within Calderdale, providing much-needed specialist facilities that will support students, staff and the wider school community for years to come.
