Industrial Unit Extension
York

Project Overview

Project: Extension and refurbishment of existing industrial unit
Client: Impala Estates
Size: 20,000 sq ft extension
Status: Completed

We were appointed as architects to support the redevelopment of an existing industrial unit in York, delivering a substantial 20,000 sq ft extension alongside the complete refurbishment of the original building. The project focused on increasing the capacity and functionality of the site while upgrading the existing accommodation to create a more modern, efficient and flexible industrial facility.

Our role included developing the architectural approach for both the new extension and the refurbishment works, ensuring the expanded unit operated as one cohesive building. The scheme balanced practical industrial requirements with improvements to the building fabric, helping to extend the life of the asset and provide adaptable space for future occupier needs.
