Planning application submitted for a mixed-use development in Epworth, Doncaster
We’re pleased to say a planning application we’ve been working on for a client has now been submitted.
The proposed development is on a 17.5 acre site in Epworth, Doncaster and currently consists of a garden centre with adjoining land.
The application submitted is for a mixed-use development which will include:
– a medical centre
– a supermarket
– a new garden centre
– two retail units
– the residential provision for 62 houses
The proposed masterplan layout has been designed to focus on providing an equally weighted mix of employment opportunities with an increase in local population through the introduction of houses, in line with the local planning policy.
The site’s layout has been designed to create a landscape-led development with public open space at the heart of development and incorporates as much of the existing boundary landscaped and vegetated areas as possible, to nestle the development within the existing surroundings.
This proposal has been created on behalf on Millea Land in partnership with Camstead Ltd as joint clients for the proposed masterplan.
