Verified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, the achievement demonstrates that S+SA Architects meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability alongside a commitment to goals beyond shareholder value.

Becoming a certified B Corp is just the start of our journey, It’s a commitment from us to take action, make progress and be accountable for the impact of our work, the communities we work in, our team and the future generation.
It’s a journey of continuous improvement, and the B Impact Assessment process allowed us to identify where we can improve and set future goals.
The assessment takes into account the following five areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
Based on the B Impact Assessment, S+SA Architects earned an overall score of 102.8. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9 and a score of 80 qualifies for B Corp Certification. You can read more about each of our impact areas here.
By benchmarking our scores it helps the practice to set out a future vision and goals for the practice, highlighting areas we can improve on and providing transparency and accountability for our team and customers.
