Our Value

S+SA Architects were approached by the school to provide architectural services for the delivery of a planning consent for the infill of an existing courtyard with new teaching and student welfare accommodation. The space presented multiple challenges, linking to the historical part of the school within a conservation area.

The detailed design was required within extremely tight timescales to ensure that the school complied with the constraints of the bid conditions for external funding.  S+SA Architects worked quickly and efficiently to enable tenders to be sent out and ensure that construction could commence during the summer break.

The success of the project has meant that S+SA Architects are now working with the school on additional projects and looking forward to supporting future bid submissions.  S+SA Architects also support the school’s careers evening as part of our CSR policy. Moreover, the work undertaken with the school has led to additional active commissions with other large academies, one of which came through the personal recommendation of the Site Manager of this scheme.
