Distribution centres in Ipswich and Chester are now open for business following fast track programmes of development.
Ipswich’s distribution centre comprises approximately 100,000 sq ft with first floor offices. Built on the site of a former sugar beet factory, the centre became operational at the end of July 2020 and will employ almost 200 staff.
S+SA Architects Ltd worked with main contractor TSL Ltd, Pinnacle Consulting Engineers Ltd and Lysander on the scheme, which took only sixteen weeks to deliver.
For Chester, we worked alongside ISG and Project Manager, Gleave Partnership Limited. The unit located on the Deeside Airfields site took just 28 weeks to build.
