2025 Year in Review: A Year of Growth, Impact and Delivery
As we look back on 2025, it has been a standout year for our team defined by growth, collaboration, and the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors.
2025 marked several significant milestones for the business:
• Celebrating 10 years in business with a team trip to Lisbon
• Moving into our new Harrogate studio
• Expanding into a larger Leeds office, reflecting continued growth
During 2025, the team worked on an impressive 160+ projects across RIBA Stages 0–7, while also undertaking the BRPD role on 107 of these, an area of work that continues to grow for us.
In addition to project delivery, we completed 231 hours of CPD and dedicated 81 hours to volunteering in support of charities and educational initiatives.
Giving back remained a key focus throughout the year. Through fundraising activities including our Quiz Night with Hexa we raised £2,505 for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, with a further £2,802.40 donated over the course of the year to a range of other charitable causes.
We were also delighted to welcome six new team members – Nick, Jack, Sunil, Andrew, Jaimie, and Rehan.
Beyond our business achievements, 2025 brought some very special personal moments, with Jack, Paul, and Chris each becoming dads and welcoming baby boys into their families.
Project Delivery Highlights
Retail
Retail delivery was a major success this year, including the completion of three large-format retail stores in Ripon, Houghton-le-Spring and Harrogate. Tesco Harrogate was a particularly stand out project for us due to it’s low-carbon design and location in our home town.
• 267,538 sq ft of new space delivered, covering new builds, fit-outs, conversions and special projects
• 29 new space completed projects, our highest number completed in a single year
• 1,037,917 sq ft of store remodels and ongoing maintenance projects delivered throughout the year
• Planning Consent achieved for a new modular built convenience store
Industrial & Logistics
Our Industrial & Logistics portfolio continued to expand:
• 3 self-storage industrial units completed (10,000–20,000 sq ft), delivered from RIBA Stages 0–7
• 3 planning applications submitted for industrial schemes totalling 270,000 sq ft (20 units)
• 4 major warehouse planning applications submitted (circa 300,000 sq ft)
• 5 warehouse mezzanine planning applications totalling 50,000+ sq ft
• Multiple warehouse and office refurbishments completed
• 4 electric vehicle storage facilities submitted to planning (circa 5 hectares)
• A flagship distribution centre on site in London (circa 100,000 sq ft)
Residential
Residential work remained a key growth area:
• Planning submissions for 52 retirement living apartments across two sites
• Plans for 1 bespoke holiday home and 7 holiday lodges
• 454 new homes in strategic development
• 30 rural affordable homes planned or consented
• 7 self-build projects
• Technical delivery of over 1,600 homes during the year
• A new stream of work launched with a social housing provider
• Successful appointment to two housing and public sector frameworks
Care
The care sector continued to grow in 2025, with a strong mix of completed projects, schemes on site and a healthy planning pipeline.
During the year we delivered:
• 1 new-build care home, providing 32 beds and 6 apartments
• 2 refurbishment care homes, delivering 37 beds and 40 beds respectively
• 1 care home extension, expanding existing provision
We also commenced works on 1 new 35-bed care home currently on site.
Looking ahead, our pipeline remains robust with 5 care projects in planning, collectively delivering 262 beds.
Alongside project delivery, we’ve continued to grow our care sector client base and look forward to building on this momentum into 2026.
